Healthwatch Richmond promotes and supports the involvement of the local community in helping to monitor and shape the provision of care. At the heart of each project we run, there is a dedicated team of volunteers who help to ensure people’s voices are heard. Without our volunteers, our projects would simply cease to exist.
We are currently recruiting for Enter and View Representatives. These volunteers currently support much of the research undertaken in Healthwatch Richmond's projects. Activities include planning the projects and Enter and View visits, talking to patients and service users and then feeding into our project reports. Enter and View volunteers are fully trained and supported by the Healthwatch Project Officers.
What will I get from volunteering?
- The opportunity to be at the forefront of helping to shape the way local health and social care services are run
- The chance to work with an enthusiastic and diverse group of volunteers and staff
- Regular training and volunteer meetings: we offer our volunteers a range of training opportunities as well as quarterly volunteer meetings; a chance to feedback and socialise with other volunteers.
“By volunteering, I have the opportunity to give something back and help others”
(Yvonne Peel, current Enter and View Volunteer)
