Celebrating Black History Month in the London Borough of Richmond

We would like to invite you to our event celebrating Black History Month in the Borough of Richmond, on Tuesday 26th October 2021 at York House from 6 PM. Come join us to enjoy some free flowing food and drink, and speak to leaders of the community.

The event will be a celebration of black contributions to the borough, which will include food & drink, appreciation of black history and black literature, and speeches from community leaders. There is no set arrival time at the event, and you are welcome to stay for as long or as little as you like, enjoy the free flowing food and drinks, talk to people and enjoy some of the stalls available. There will also be a section dedicated to speeches, with speakers to be confirmed.

Throughout the event there will also be opportunity to speak to councillors and council members, and to representatives from the NHS and Healthwatch Richmond who will be attending the event. Those who delivered speeches will also be available to chat to throughout.
