Youth Out Loud! are raising mental health awareness

Our youth group - Youth Out Loud! (YOL!) have launched their video "Self Harm: Being a Good Friend" and a fantastic set of resources to help manage mental health.

Youth Out Loud! (YOL!) are a group of young people aged 13-17, working with Healthwatch in Richmond & in Kingston, using their voices to make health and care services better for young people.

During Mental Health Awareness week 2020 (18th-23rd of May) Youth Out Loud! have launched their new video "Self-Harm: Being a Good Friend". The video gives advice about how to support a friend who you think is self-harming.

More resources for young people

The video was sent around Richmond & Kingston schools, youth groups and sports centres, alongside a set of resources to help signposting young people who may be struggling or need support with their mental health.
