"Uniting against Female Genital Mutilation" Event March 2014

Jakhya Rahman and Sandra Hempel attended this event on behalf of Healthwatch Richmond. It was organised by Marina Yannakoudakis, Conservative MEP for London, and sponsored by the Evening Standard.
The purpose was to discuss the prevalence of this horrendous practice and to share the approaches being taken in the UK and across the EU in tackling it.
