    Getting better access to a GP appointment, both physically and at a suitable time, was the biggest source of frustration and dissatisfaction for patients in Richmond Borough according to our General Practice report in 2014.

    Kingston Hospital contacted Healthwatch Richmond to conduct a survey that would help understand better the needs of patients in terms of blood tests appointments.
    The aim was to collect patient’s views on their phlebotomy experience, in order to better understand patients’ needs and preferences.

    In early July 2018, the Walk-In Centre at Teddington Memorial Hospital was combined with the collocated extended hours GP service to become an Urgent Treatment Centre.
