    Getting better access to a GP appointment, both physically and at a suitable time, was the biggest source of frustration and dissatisfaction for patients in Richmond Borough according to our General Practice report in 2014.

    Help Healthwatch Richmond understand how to improve GP appointment booking!

    Kingston Hospital contacted Healthwatch Richmond to conduct a survey that would help understand better the needs of patients in terms of blood tests appointments.
    The aim was to collect patient’s views on their phlebotomy experience, in order to better understand patients’ needs and preferences.

    In early July 2018, the Walk-In Centre at Teddington Memorial Hospital was combined with the collocated extended hours GP service to become an Urgent Treatment Centre.

    As part of our ongoing work on Urgent and Emergency Care, we reviewed the Urgent Care Centre and Emergency Department at West Middlesex Hospital in August.

    We carried out a series of visits to review the Emergency Department and the Urgent Care Centre at West Middlesex Hospital. The findings of the report is based on the feedback from 78 patients and 16 members of staff.
